The use of iso-8859-1 characters is perfectly correct according to the java standard. (See the javadoc for the Properties class.) However as all our other translations use ASCII-escaped unicode I suggest adding a comment at the top of the file explaining that the encoding is correct. This will avoid possible confusion in the future. |
