Run Heritrix GUI

This page describes how to run Heritrix GUI

Start Program

 * Go to http://$GUIadminserver:$http-port/HarvestDefinition/
  . where GUIadminserver and http-port are specified in the deploy configuration file under the application named dk.netarkivet.common.webinterface.GUIApplication
  . In the one-machine setup (deploy_example_one_machine.xml ) the link will be : http://localhost:8074
Wait for the job to be generated and up and running

 * Choose 'Systemstate'
 * Click on Application !HarvestControllerServer
 * Choose Machine e.g. kb-test-har-002 and click on the link in log message  e.g. "INFO: Job ID: 2, Harvest ID: 2, http://kb-test-har-002.kb.dk:8090"
 * Fill login/password: admin/adminPassword
 * Click on Job->Edit configuration, click overrides tab and add a couple of overrides for the domain netarkivet.dk
 . e.g max-hops 15 and delay-factor 1.5 and click the checkbox in front of each of the settings
  * Click "done with override" and "Finished"
  * Click Console.
  * Click on resume
