Run Heritrix GUI and terminate a harvest
This page describes how to terminate a havest using Heritrix GUI
Start webbrowser
Go to http://$GUIadminserver:$http-port/HarvestDefinition/
- where GUIadminserver and http-port are specified in the deploy configuration file under the application named dk.netarkivet.common.webinterface.GUIApplication
In the one-machine setup (deploy_example_one_machine.xml ) the link will be : http://localhost:8074
Note that currently the above is not possible due to firewall issues. Instead: make a ssh login (with X forward enabled) on the GUIADminserver, and start a webbrowser on that machine
Wait for the job to be generated and up and running
- Choose 'Systemstate'
Click on Application HarvestControllerServer
Choose Machine kb-test-har-002 and click on the link in log message e.g. "INFO: Job ID: 2, Harvest ID: 2, http://kb-test-har-002.kb.dk:8090"
- Fill login/password: admin/adminPassword
- Click on Pause
