Check the BitPreservation status

Do following in a browser

Start Program

• Go to http://$GUIadminserver:$http-port/HarvestDefinition/

  • where GUIadminserver and http-port are specified in the deploy configuration file under the application named dk.netarkivet.common.webinterface.GUIApplication

  • In the one-machine setup (deploy_example_one_machine.xml ) the link will be : http://localhost:8074

• Go to the status site:

  • Click on BitPreservation in the side bar.

• Verify that all the replicas has the same 'last updated' date for both the filelist and the checksum status.
• Both the KBN and the SBN should contain the expected amount of files.
• No replica should have any files with error.
• Check that CSN does not have any files, though also no missing files.

Update status

• Press the botton 'update' for the filelist for all replicas.
• Verify that KBN, SBN and CSN now all contains the same amount of files, and the noone has any missing files.
• Press the botton 'update' for the checksum statsus for all the replicas.
• Verify that neither KBN, SBN or CSN has any files with errors.
