The Live NetarchiveSuite USB stick contains a ready-to-run NetarchiveSuite installation using Live Ubuntu.

Instructions on how to start NetarchiveSuite:

  1. Shutdown your computer and insert the stick into a USB slot
  2. Boot the computer from the USB stick. This can be done be entering the boot menu at startuptime (typically by pressing F12) and selecting USB as boot device. Ubuntu Linux should now startup

  3. Select Try Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS when prompted. The Ubuntu desptop should appear after a while.

  4. Open a terminal (ctrl+alt+t)

  5. Start NetarchiveSuite by typing:

    1. cd netarchive/USER

    2. startall_NATIONAL_LIBRARY.sh
